At least the good kind. At least the kind that Jesus offers.
It generally follows truth. And truth is Him, radiant love personified — that's uncomfortable.
So this uncomfortable loving truth is what sets us free in the end. We can't find this liberty unless we experience the gritty sandpaper feeling of encountering truth, changing and being purged of our junk.
And good news.
This doesn't happen once. It happens lots of times, over and over again. We experience sandpaper truth and find more and more freedom. This is the life, the promise we have in Jesus.
Jesus, I accept the fact that in love You want to bring truth into my life, which will change me, make me uncomfortable. Help me see where You are at work and help me not resist.
